Celebrating the life of Ian Andy Ellis

Here is the little boy that has made me be a better mom over the past 2 years. Ian Andy Ellis, my cousin what an honor it is to say that. Ian went to be with his Father, October 9th and is now dancing on the streets of gold! He is in no more pain and can do all the things a 2 yr old should be able to do. Thank you Mary, Wae and Ian for touching my life like I never thought it was possible. Thanking you to making me wake up each morning and realize that the small things DON'T matter. Thank you for teaching me to be grateful for Gavin, for every small thing he does. Even down to touching my hand... No words will or can describe how grateful I am for the lesson this family has taught me.

You are extremely happy about these things, even though you have to suffer different kinds of trouble for a little while now. The purpose of these troubles is to test your faith as fire tests how genuine gold is. Your faith is more ...precious than gold, and by passing the test, it gives praise, glory, and honor to God. This will happen when Jesus Christ appears again 1 peter 1:6-7

7 Month Check Up

Today was my 7 month check up for Chloe. All is well so far. She is growing and only measuring one week behind. The doctor says this is still in the normal range, but that she will just be small. (im o.k. with that.)
Her heartrate was 138-141 today and was just where it is suppose to be... Doctor said perfect, actually!! Praise God!
All my bloodwork, etc came back normal and I am doing great other than the normal pregnancy symptoms that occur as you get bigger!!
We will be getting her 4D ultrasound in 2 weeks when we go back and I cannot wait to see all the fingers/toes, etc... it will be awesome!!
I will post more at that time!
Thanks for checking in...

Pictures of Chloe Lynn Isbell

These are pics from when we found out Chloe was a girl. A little late, but better late than never, right? Here is our second little miracle...

More Disney Pics....

Last Family Vacation as Just the Three of US...

Sorry it has been a while... I will try to be better at this blogging thing.

Patrick, Gav and I just took our last trip as "just the three of us this Sept" We decided we wanted Gavin to experience Disney and so my parents and the three of us headed to Orlando. It was a blast and although I was 6 months pregnant... I wouldnt take it back for anything. Gavin was the perfect age to go... everything was so... REAL. Like... Mickey and Buzz Lightyear.

I am going for my 7 month check up this Wed and am praying all is still well with Chloe. I have been getting very uncomfortable lately but all is worth it in the end. Here are a few pics from our awesome trip to Disney World...

WOW---It's been a while!

Sorry for the long break... It has been a while and our lives have been very busy for a while. So... I am 22 weeks now into my 2nd pregnancy and all is going well. I feel great, other than getting very tired easily. AND... we found out Baby Isbell is a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!! We are very excited about this and cannot wait to meet " Chloe Lynn" Gavin is going to be the best big brother. He already burps his stuffed animals and is getting lots of practice while we are waiting on her to make her arrival.
Patrick new job is going great. He is at a job that is low stress and it better money. SO those two things alone are a blessing in themselves.
I am still working full time and am praying that God opens a door and a way for me to go part time once Chloe Lynn arrives. I want to cherish these days with my kids b/c they are only little once.
I will try and post some more pics soon.

Easter 2009

Gavin had a blast this Easter. We took him to the Bass Pro Shop where he saw the Easter Bunny and gave him lots of High fives, made easter eggs and even hunted them throughout the store. He had a blast! He loved hunting Easter eggs this year and finding the "prize" eggs with money inside of them. He just gets more fun every year at the holidays. Here is Gavin and the bunny and he is cheesing from ear to ear. He loves the big costume animals.... Thank Goodness!! :-)

Milestone for Patrick!

So... I am so proud to say that my hubby has officially started running and so he ran with his first 5K with me this past Saturday. He ran the MapleLeaf with me in Trussville with a great time of 28:52. I was so excited to run with him and have a good time! He actually made me run stadiums afterwards and wow was I tired after that! So... I hope that I can talk him into running more with me as the weather gets prettier.

Also... here are a few pics of our weekend at the park with tree climbing and fun!

Gavin Loves Baseball!!

Here is Gavin thinking he is a real Hewitt Trussville Husky pitcher thanks to Uncle B!
Look at that pitcher stance and look. He is so serious that he is about to strike Uncle B out!! Hilarious!

The big 3!!!

Gavin is officially three in every way now! He is quite some fun these days and challenging at others!! We had a great bday bash with friends and family at our house with a huge Moonwalk and slide. It was perfect for him and I dont think he could have had more fun!! This is a pic of my little man making what he calls his "Cool Dude Face"
He has been watching a little too much Yo Gabba Gabba these days. HA! BUT... all is well here in the Isbell household. We are so blessed to see all that God is doing in our lives individually as well as a family. We have also officially put our house on the market in hopes that it will sell in the distant future. We will see where God leads us at that time. :-) Happy Tuesday to all!!

WORRIES...

Hey guys. This week I decided I would send you guys a word of encouragement on "Worries" My devotion this week on worries was exactly what I needed at this time in my life. My husband has officially started his own company and putting complete trust in the Lord that he will Bless this company is sometimes hard when we don't know what the income will be every month... but what we do know is that if we trust in him and put him first he WILL provide.BUT... sometimes it is hard for me to not WORRY about the monthly income... I know every one of us have one of not more than that one something that we worry about so I thought I would share this with you...

1 Peter 5:7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Have you ever been weighed down by worry? If worry has us in its grip, we feel tired, unproductive, and ineffective. I think we need to understand that he invites us to talk to him. When we show up to pray about something for the 99th time, he does not say Oh, its you again!" he says WElcome, I'm glad you are talkingto me about this. As we keep taling to him, we find calmness and, often, creative solutions.

I have a great exercise if some of you would like to try it. I have a friend that makes a God Bag. She writes this on the outside of a brown paper sack. Then every time she worries, she writes the concern on a scrap paper and drops it into the bag. Once a month, she sorts through the "worries" and sees how God has solved many of them. Any still of concern to her are tossed back into the bag! So... I have found that placing each worry in the God Bag, reminds me that I am trusting him to answer in his time and in his way. ( NOT MINE) YOu know... I have learned that I cant control all the crisis in my life, but I can trust God to guide me though them.

Quote for the night: It is always possible to be thankful for what is given rathen than to complain about what is not given. One or the other becomes a habit of life!!

Hope you enjoyed!!

Imagine Media's website is up and running!

I am the proud wife of a self-employed husband now! Patrick's graphic design company that he started in 2008 officially has a website! Check it out at www.imaginebhm.com. He has worked so hard to get this up and running and I am proud to say he officially owns IMAGINE MEDIA, LLC.
Please tell everyone you know that has any graphic design needs and he will be happy to work with them. He does everything from invitations, to posters, to building/creating websites and designing home theatres!! God has truly blessed him with a talent and I am proud of him for what he has already accomplished with his company. To Patrick, I am so proud of you for what you have already accomplished with this company! (maybe one day I can work part-time) Wink!!! :-)

Food for Thought!

The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like anever-flowing spring. Isaiah 58:11.

We all seem to like our familiar comforts, I learned recently the difference between "wrong" and "just different." One thing that has helped me to develop a less rigid attitude was a realization that jesus didnt limit hiself to only one "correct" way of healing. Sometimes he healed with a touch (the leper), Sometimes he spoke. Sometimes he sent his healing ahead, and occasionally he even spit. (the dirt going on the blind mans eyes) I confess, I dont like that miracle. Not only do I find it disgusting, but it is outside my definition of how Jesus should heal. I have to wonder if I have refused his miracles in my own life because they didn't come in what I thought should be the correct package or how I thought they should look!

I prayed this morning:Lord, help me not to demand that others or you do things my way. And help me rejoice in your miracles no matter how they are packaged. Help me to see the miracles even when they aren't as I think they should look.

QUote FOR THE DAY: Every time I reject Jesus' ability to handle any problem of my life, I am rejecting Him as the Lord of my life.

EVEN IN THE VALLEYS I WILL SAY... HOLY. MY GOD.. YOU ARE WORTHY OF ALL MY PRAISE!!

Christmas Time!!

MY NAKED COWBOY! I think he is way cuter than the other one! HA!

I can't decide if this was the worst gift, or the best!! HA!

Just the Three of us!

I love seeing my boys faces light up.

So... now it is officially 2009 and were are beginning the New Year off to a good start. Gavin will soon be 3 in Feb and I cannot believe it! Time flies when you watch your angel grow before you eyes!
We have many goals set for us as a family in 2009. Some of which involve... selling our current house, paying off some debt and last and most importantly... God willing... we hope Gavin will be a big brother in the next coming year!! DON'T ASSUME ANYTHING YET! I AM NOT PREGNANT AS I WRITE THIS... BUT IT IS IN OUR PRAYERS FOR THE CURRENT FUTURE! SO... TO ALL OF YOU... HAPPY NEW YEARS. MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE. I KNOW HE ALREADY HAS WITH US AND I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT 2009 HOLDS FOR OUR FAMILY.

P.S. Here are a few pics from the past few fun and excited months with all of the holidays!
