Pumpkin Carving 2008

Gavin had a great time picking out which carving he wanted.. He chose the kitty cat and the ghost and DID NOT want tp put a "fire" in them!! He loved watching daddy carve the pumpkin but wanted nothing to do with helping me get the "guts" out of it. HAHA! Fun memories!! Here is the picture of the final project!!

SO WE HAD A VERY EVENTFUL WEEKEND. AFTER THE RACE ON SATURDAY... SUNDAY WE TOOK GAVIN AND BOTH SETS OF GRANDPARENTS TO THE PUMPKIN PATCH! IT WAS A BLAST AND GAVIN HAD SUCH A FUN TIME PICKING OUT PUMPKINS AND RIDING THE HORSE AND JUMPING IN A HUGE CAGE OF COTTON!! HERE A FEW PICS FROM OUR DAY.

SO TODAY WAS A VERY EVENTFUL DAY! RACE FOR THE CURE IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST FUN RAISERS THAT BIRMINGHAM HAS... I WAS SO EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THIS SPECIAL DAY! MY GRANDMOTHER BEAT BREAST CANCER A FEW YEARS AGO SO THIS RACE IS DEAR TO MY HEART. I WAS ABLE TO SPONSOR A RIBBON ON HER CELEBRATION AND TO ALSO RACE IN CELEBRATION FOR HER...
